Configuration for oracle apps Installation for Release R12.1.1

RAM    ---------------------------------------à min 3GB
HDD     -------------------------------------àmin 320GB
OS------------------------------------------àWindows 2003 Server
C:\drive------------------à15gb

PROEESSOR--------------------------------àCore2Duo 2.6

D:\drive--------------------à280gb

E:\drive remaining part

 Create a folder in e:\StageR12 (main folder) (Note:- ‘S’ is capital)

           

            Copy below  folders into StageR12

1)startCD

2)oraApps

3)oraAS

4)oraDB

5)oraAppDB (in this folder copy from disk1 to disk49 files)

Create on their folder Prerequisite (MKS Toolkit, Gnumake.Exe) Copy all into this folder

Click on Close

Note : Please Check D: Drive is Formatted or not

Domain is must:

                           

                                 My computer

                                           --àproperties

                                                --àchange

                                                --àcomputer name( apps)

                                                ---àmore

                                                ---à give the domain name (ora.com)

Restart the system

Go to the prerequisite Folder 

The first one is

 1)MKS tool kit   

   In this MKS tool kit --àthere is file name X86

                                    --àin that X86 there is SETUP option DOUBLE CLICK that

                                                Click next so on

hear there is a number is there 4413708921.

Resart the system.

2)Install the visual studio 2008.

3) Gnu make:- Copy the  GNUMAKE.exe file and paste in to C:\Drive

In the GNUMAKE folder open it

            There is some file like gnumake.exe

                                          

                        Copy these file and paste in to C:\windows\system32

C:\VC98 (in this folder) LINK.EXE file copy it and paste C:\WINDOWS\ SYSTEM32.

C:\VC98 (in this folder) cl.exe.EXE file copy it and paste C:\WINDOWS\ SYSTEM32

Oracle application Installation

E:\StageR12    

 StartCD-----àDisk1---àRapid wizard----àRapid Wizard.cmd---àDouble click

---ànext

                                    ---ànext

                                                ----ànext

 After check       ---ànext

                                               

it ask DO u want-----àyes

This will take 3 – 5  hours

Click on next à finish

           Then restart the system

After install

            -àgoto start àprograms  àadministrative tools àservices

there is some services like

    

1)oracle concmgr vis

2) oracle service vis

            àcheck these service status is  started otherwise right on service and select start

In the INTERNET

àtools àinternet options àsecurity-àinternet ,local intranet, trusted sites all these select one by one then go to custom level click on enable

in address bar -àhttp://apps.ora.com:8000

Press enter

click on apps logon links --àe business home page --à

username --àoperations

password--à welcome

This is optional

U Must create dummy prineter

            Start--àsettings---printers & faxes

                        Add printers--ànext-ànext---ànext

                                                                        ---àselect one printer company

                                                                                                ----ànext

            no-ànext--ànext-ànext--àfinish
